Conserving Rivers in Michigan: Natural Rivers and Wild & Scenic Rivers Workshop

Join colleagues who work on stewardship on protected rivers in Michigan or are considering new protections on Feb. 24 for a virtual workshop hosted by the RMS River Training Center and American Rivers. Our goal is to facilitate dialogue between watershed groups and federal and state agencies about protection tools and restoration processes on rivers in Michigan. 

Objectives: 

• Understand key aspects of management on Michigan Natural Rivers and Wild & Scenic Rivers
• Discuss restoration project considerations for agencies and restoration practitioners
• Highlight opportunities for improved stewardship and increased funding for restoration
