6/15: Wild and Scenic Webinar Series - Steps to Address User CapacitiesThe sixth, and final webinar of the series, covers the basis and rationale for addressing user capacities for WSRs, and outlines a recommended framework with steps for addressing user capacities. 6/28: River Management Roundtable: Let's Celebrate Latino Conservation WeekHispanic Access Foundation alumna, Tangy Ekasi-Otu will share some insight on her experience hosting and assisting with LCW events and highlight the variety of ways you can get involved. 11/7-9: Interagency 2(a)(ii) Wild and Scenic Rivers Workshop: Evaluating Water Resources ProjectsParticipants will increase their understanding of the protection requirements of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act (Act), the standards and process for evaluating water resources projects subject to review under Section 7(a) of the Act, the Northern California Interagency Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and roles of the river administering agencies. This workshop will also help to improve communication lines between agencies, project proponents, and non-governmental organizations for segments of the American, Eel, Klamath, Trinity, and Smith Rivers.
